Co-chair with Malcolm Fraser and later Ingvar Carlsson, appreciated for his outstanding mind, particularly on economics and finance. Concurrently serving as InterAction Co-chair and Japanese Finance Minister, Mr. Miyazawa ensured the continuance of Japanese support to the Council after the death of Takeo Fukuda.
